Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience

Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience focuses on understanding the relationship between brain structure, brain function, and human cognition, behavior, and emotions. This field combines psychology, neuroscience, and clinical research to study how brain activity influences mental processes such as memory, attention, language, perception, and decision-making.

The session will explore key areas of neuropsychological assessment, including cognitive testing, behavioral analysis, and evaluation of brain injury, dementia, stroke, and neurodevelopmental disorders. It will also highlight how brain lesions and neurological conditions affect cognitive and emotional functioning.
